20. Silbertriennale International 2022

The contest devoted to silverware, cutlery, and small objects has enormous global resonance today. Established artists and young talents alike exhibit their latest creations.
Alongside the prizewinning pieces, exhibits selected by a jury are on show.

With three pieces of the Sphere Collection I was awarded the Ebbe Weiss-Weingart Silverprize.

Geknipt voor Utrecht

Knipkring Utrecht organiseert een tentoonstelling in galerie Niek Waterbolk te Utrecht.
De deelnemers -uit Utrecht én de rest van het land- hebben zich laten inspireren door het grootse feest wat gevierd wordt ter gelegenheid van Utrecht 900 jaar.
Deelnemers zijn onder anderen: Ria Groot, Paula Versnick, Sandra Westgeest, Sabeth Elberse, Maja Houtman, Marius de Schaar, Janna van Zuijlen en Mieke Reinders.

Er worden dagelijks workshops gegeven.

METALLOphone: Memory of the Place

METALLOphone is the only international event dedicated to contemporary authorial jewellery in Lithuania, which is increasingly gaining importance both in the Lithuanian cultural field and in the international community of jewellery-makers. The theme of the sixth biennial is ‘Memory of the Place’.

FEEST! Utrecht 900 jaar

Stichting Sieraden van Utrecht organiseert een tentoonstelling met acht Utrechtse goudsmeden ter ere van het 900-jarig bestaan van Utrecht. Elk van hen maakte speciaal voor deze tentoonstelling nieuwe sieraden, geïnspireerd door de stad waarin ze samen leven. Maja hangt de slingers op. Met haar zelfontwikkelde draadtechniek ‘twisted wirework’ maakte zij een reeks SLINGERringen. Ze hebben vrolijk gekleurde edelstenen en zijn flexibel, dus makkelijk te dragen. Andere exposanten zijn: Suzan Hotho, Robean Visschers, Karin Wichers, Ronald Kuijer, Stefanie de Vries, Marike Reinhard en Ingeborg Pinckaers.

The Stichting Sieraden van Utrecht is organizing an exhibition with eight Utrecht goldsmiths from 7 to 19 June 2022 in honor of the 900th anniversary of Utrecht. Each of them made new jewelry especially for this exhibition, inspired by the city in which they live together. Maja made GARLANDrings with her self-developed wire technique ‘twisted wirework’. They have brightly colored gemstones and are flexible, so easy to wear.
